 Barsa is a literature student who believes in equality in behavior and treatment, and stands firmly against patriarchy. Passionate about reading literary works, she sees reading as a way of understanding the world and writing as her most powerful form of expression.In her free time, she enjoys writing her thoughts and watching series. Riding, hiking, and trekking are among her favorite hobbies, and she finds peace and inspiration by being close to nature.

Bishakha Mahato
 Bishakha Mahato is a Madhesi Intersectional feminist practitioner from Dhanusha ,Nepal who believes strongly in gender equality and  social justice. She is interested in understanding how power, gender, identity, and access intersect to shape people’s everyday realities, including in digital spaces. She values learning and reflection as part of her work and believes in feminist principles as a guide for both personal and professional growth. In her free time, she enjoys quiet reflection, writing and doing physical exercises as ways to recharge and stay grounded.

Dovan Rai
 Dovan Rai is a computer scientist, educator, and writer. She currently serves as the Executive Director at Body & Data. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from WPI, USA, with a research focus on the use of AI in education. She has worked as a software engineer, designer, researcher, and educator, teaching AI in Nepal and the USA. She has developed technology platforms for youth education and initiated educational programs in data science and machine learning.  She also holds a Master’s in Sociology and writes on socio-political issues in Nepal.

Ladip Ma Kiranti
Ladipma, whose name means “Moon” in the Kirat Bantawa language, holds a deep sense of belonging to her land, community, and culture. Her journey is grounded in remembering, relearning, and reclaiming her Indigenous identity, while navigating what it means to live as an Indigenous woman today. For her, food is a powerful expression of care and connection, and she enjoys cooking and serving in her free time. She has been engaged in the field of education for many years, contributing as a teacher, teacher trainer, and researcher.

Monisha Chaudhary
 Monisha is a queer intersectional activist and policy researcher, working to translate social justice into policies. They work as a Research and Advocacy Officer at Body & Data, primarily engaging with upcoming digital laws and policies through the lens of marginalisation, intersectionality, and feminist imaginaries. Their interest and experiences in political philosophy and socio-legal research inform their extensive work in public policy over the past three years. Monisha is also involved in youth movements related to gender justice, climate justice, and social justice at large. In their free time, they find themselves knitting, crocheting, painting, and crafting.

Nuva Rai
 Nuva Rai is a dedicated advocate for Indigenous feminist activism and social justice in Nepal, with over five years of experience in the non-profit sector. Her work centers on integrating feminist ethos into organizational frameworks to ensure inclusive and equitable outcomes. Drawing from her own lived experience within a marginalized community, she is driven by a passion for building a more just and accessible world. Nuva finds community in online RPG gaming and finds joy eating, writing and sleeping.

 Rina Prajapati has been working as support staff at Body & Data. Originally from Bhaktapur, she enjoys knitting and cooking. Her consistent presence and dedication has made her an integral part of the organization’s day-to-day functioning.

Rojan Ghimire
 Rojan is a visual artist, then a Generalist in arts. He makes visual arts, do animations, make designs, consult institutions, do research, work with archivists and museums. He directs music videos, design campaigns, assist in curation, practice in an artist collective at and mostly work with a big closely-knitted circle of artists, technical experts and creatives.

Siddhartha Ratna Guvaju
Sid is a queer feminist Newa: person from Madhesh who is currently based in Kathmandu. He has been working in the intersection of queerness, education and indigenity. He is also active in studying and exploring Newa culture, heritages, language and history as he thinks it is a portal to his ancestors and roots. Sid is a language nerd who can speak half a dozen languages. Like most of the Gen Zs, he enjoys spending his leisure time on digital spaces.

 Advocate Smriti Ranabhat is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Criminal Law and International Law at Nepal Law Campus. She is building her career at the intersection of advocacy, research, and content creation. She is the founder of Legal Nest, an independent digital platform dedicated to promoting legal literacy and accessible legal education. As a freelance writer and legal researcher, she has contributed to various projects in the areas of law, justice, and public policy.

Originally from Sankhuwasabha, she brings seven years of experience to her role. Beyond her professional responsibilities, she is passionate about meditation and yoga, with a strong interest in supporting mental health and overall well-being.
