For the last three months, we worked with independent creators and covered issues around sexuality and internet. Srijya Thapa's "Sexy is Beautiful" uncovers her journey of accepting her sexuality. Pleasure Corners of the Internet explores the writer's jounrey of self pleasure through Internet. We also had Rita Baramu publish her writing on digital rights called डिजिटल संसारमा हाम्रो अधिकार.

Our Position on Contemporary Issues of Digital Rights and Its Intersections

Nepal Police had released a statement regarding the rise of online violence stating that people need to stop sharing of intimate images and video calls to protect themselves from probable online violence. This was restriction of people's sexual rights and expression and we further explored this through our statement. Surrounding various conversations around caste based discrimination, reservation rights, we expanded this conversation around how caste plays a role on digital spaces and the intersection of caste and internet. Conversations around citizenship for women and queer folks was broadened through the perspective of privacy on our twitter thread - having gender markers, mandatory naming of fathers is a breach of their privacy. Following the #SareeTrend of Tiktok where women showed off their bodies, they were faced with online harassment on which we released a statement showing support for women's bodily autonomy and sexually expression.

Established in 2017, Body & Data works to enhance understanding and access to information on digital rights among women, queer people and minority groups where they are able to exercise their rights in a safe and just digital space. We work towards the vision of accessible, safe and just digital space for all, through cross movement building, facilitation for access to information, knowledge building and dissemination on digital rights in the context of Nepal

हामीले गत तीन महिनामा सामग्री निर्माताहरुबाट इन्टरनेट र यौनिकताको अन्तरसम्बन्धमा तीन वटा ब्लगहरु प्रकाशित गर्यौं। सृज्या थापाले "सेक्सी इस ब्युटीफुल"मा उनको आफ्नो यौनिकतालाई स्वीकार गर्ने यात्राको बारेमा लेख्नुभएको छ।  Pleasure Corners of the Internet स्व: आनन्दको यात्रामा इन्टरनेटले कसरी सहजीकारण गर्यो भनेर लेख्नुभएको छ। डिजिटल संसारमा हाम्रो अधिकारबाट रिता बरामुले डिजिटल अधिकारको बारेमा एकदमै राम्रो लेख लेख्नुभएको छ।

समसामयिक बिषयहरुमा हाम्रो ऐकेबद्दता 

नेपाल प्रहरीले अनलाइन हिंसा बढिरहेको कुरा मध्यनजर गर्दै त्यसबाट बच्न आफ्नो व्यक्तिगत फोटो कसैसंग सेयर नगर्न र भिडियोकल नगर्न अनुरोध गर्दै एउटा प्रेस बिज्ञप्ति जारी गर्यो। यो व्यक्तिको यौनिक तथा अभिव्यक्तिको अधिकारलाई संकुचित गर्न खोजेको कदम भएको हुनाले हामीले पनि आफ्नो बिज्ञप्ति मार्फत यस बिषयभित्रको अन्य पाटोहरुलाई केलाउने प्रयास गर्यौ। नेपालमा जातीय भेदवाव र आरक्षणको बिषय छलफल भइरहेको अवस्थामा हामीले जात र इन्टरनेट कसरी एक अर्का संग अन्तरसम्बन्धित कुरा हुन् सक्छन र कसरी जातीय ब्यबस्थाले इन्टरनेटको थलोहरुमा पनि आफ्नो भूमिका खेलीराखेको हुन्छ भन्ने कुरालाई अझै खोताल्यौ। महिला र क्व्येर व्यक्तिहरुको नागरिकताको बिषय भित्र लैंगिक पहचान र बाबुको नाम अनिवार्य हुनु कसरी गोपनियतासंग सम्बन्धित् बिषय हो भन्ने कुरा हामीले हाम्रो एक ट्वीटर थ्रेड मार्फत अझै उजागर गर्यौ। टिकटकमा सारी ट्रेन्ड मार्फत आफ्नो यौनिकता अभिव्यक्त गर्दा महिलाहरुले अनलाइन दुर्ब्यबहारको सामना  गर्नु परेको कुरा उल्लेख गर्दै हामीले महिलाको आफ्नो शारीरिक स्वायत्तता र यौनिक अभिव्यक्तिको हकको पक्षमा एउटा बक्तव्य पनि जारी गर्यौ ।

सन् २०१७मा स्थापित यस बडी एण्ड डाटाले महिला, क्वेयर तथा सिमान्तकृत समुदायका व्यक्तिहरुको डिजिटल अधिकारसम्बन्धि बुझाइ र सुचनामाथिको पहुँचलाई बढाउदै लैजाने तर्फ काम गर्दै आएको छ । जहाँ एउटा न्यायिक र सुरक्षित डिजिटल थलोमा उक्त समुदायले आफ्नो अधिकारको अभ्यास गर्न सकुन् भन्ने हाम्रो उदेश्य हो । हामी सुचनाहरुमाथिको पहुँचमा सहजीकरण र नेपाली परिबेशमा डिजिटल अधिकार सम्बन्धि ज्ञान निर्माण र वितरणको माध्यमबाट सबैका लागि पहुँचयुक्त, न्यायिक र सुरक्षित डिजिटल थलो निर्माण गर्ने कार्यमा विभिन्न अभियानहरुसंग हातेमालो गर्दै काम  गरिरहेका छौ ।
